About Dr. Chandler
Dr. Chandler has worked in the field of mental health for 30 years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University, a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kansas State University, and a Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has a broad range of experience, having worked with clients spanning in age from 3 to 87. His specialty areas are treating adolescents and adults suffering from anxiety and depression, and performing comprehensive psychological evaluations to help individuals better understand their condition and how to move forward with treatment.
Dr. Chandler is passionate about helping his clients learn and apply basic principles of emotional fitness. He believes the human condition is universal — we are all susceptible to colds, flu, anxiety, and depression. He looks at each client as a unique human being, with inner strength and wisdom, who can learn to overcome their challenges.
Currently, Dr. Chandler is accepting clients needing Psychological Evaluations, Immigration Evaluations, or Court-ordered Psychosexual Evaluations.
Dr. Chandler also sees clients for therapy by secure online video (evaluations require an in-person visit), so distance doesn’t have to be a barrier — see our online therapy page for details.
Credentials & affiliations: Dr. Chandler is a licensed psychologist in Utah, qualified to conduct psychological evaluations, and an approved psychosexual evaluator with the Utah Sex Offense Task Force. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA) — the professional organization for clinicians working in the sex-offense field.
