About Mikaela

Are you looking for a trusted ally to support your child or teenager on their journey to emotional well-being and resilience? Parenting is no easy feat, and navigating the ups and downs of your child’s emotional world can sometimes feel overwhelming. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, understanding, and collaboration. Whether it’s recovering from trauma, coping with family changes, or managing anxiety and depression, I create a safe, supportive environment where young clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their thoughts and feelings.

I have experience working with kids, teens, and young adults struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, life transitions, and relational conflicts. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques including play therapy, sand tray therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I am committed to walking alongside my clients through the critical developmental period of childhood and adolescence.

I love working with kids and teens and am passionate about the work I do. If you’re looking for compassionate support for you and your child or teen, I’m here to help.
