About Garrett

Hello and welcome! While we may not know each other yet, I believe that we are all more alike than we are different. Humans are inherently worthy and deserving of dignity and respect in every circumstance and I am grateful for the opportunity I have to meet, learn from, and work with incredible people every day.

As an intern therapist and MSW candidate I am passionate about integrating my existing knowledge with new learning opportunities to provide the best support for clients. I strive to approach each therapeutic relationship with humility, curiosity, and a commitment to growth, eager to walk alongside clients as we navigate challenges and celebrate progress together.

I practice a variety of evidence-based techniques including CBT, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Crisis Intervention. I’ve had the opportunity to work with children, teens, and adults as they navigate challenges, tragedy, and trauma, and have experience guiding others through anxiety, depression, grief, suicidality, self-harm, and crises.

I have spent most of my life in Utah and love this beautiful area and all it has to offer. I have been married for nearly 12 years and have four sons. I grew up playing sports and love coaching youth whenever I get the opportunity. I look forward to working with you!

I also see clients by secure online video, so distance doesn’t have to be a barrier — see our online therapy page for details.
