About Micah

Over the past 10+ years, I have witnessed that there is a path of personal growth and healing that leads to a recovery mindset and helps clients change unwanted behaviors. Many clients I work with find themselves unable to make significant changes despite past therapeutic work, feeling helpless in their personal lives and relationships. Being stuck while trying to change can feel hopeless.

As a trauma-informed licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I create a safe space for helping couples and individuals navigate the struggle of addiction and the trauma of betrayal. We work together through the steps of recovery and healing — from avoidance to engaging in recovery, leading to the freedom that comes with it. This vulnerable journey requires courage and commitment. To the dedication you bring, we add structured efforts to process the origins of addiction, develop self-awareness, honesty, and accountability, and build deeper connections than ever before.

In reading this, you demonstrate courage and honesty that it is time for change — steps toward recovery. Whether this is your first attempt to get help or you are in the advanced stages of recovery, I look forward to working with you on this journey of freedom from addiction and healing from betrayal.
