About Natalie
Hello and welcome! Deciding on a therapist can feel like a huge leap of faith. You want to find someone who respects you, makes you feel comfortable, promotes productivity, and approaches therapy in a way that honors your life experiences and beliefs. My approach is respectful, authentic, open-minded, and direction-oriented. I create a safe, supportive, trauma-informed space where you can be honest, feel heard, and have the difficult and sometimes uncomfortable conversations needed to make the progress you desire. Whether you want to dig in and get to work right away or take time to carefully identify your situation, I truly respect you and want to meet you where you are at. I believe in catering our approach to your individual needs because the healing and growth process looks different for everyone.
Whether you know your challenges or can’t yet put it into words, I am here to help. You are the expert on your own life, while I bring the professional training, knowledge, and skills to help guide you as you identify and navigate the challenges you are facing. When appropriate, I can push back, express concerns, or point out things you may not see; but I am here to listen, ask the right questions, and offer skills as you gain more clarity about yourself, your needs, and your direction. I guide the productive, insightful, and sometimes challenging conversations that are part of the meaningful change you want to see in your life.
If you are feeling discouraged, stuck, overwhelmed, or don’t even know where to start, I would love to help. I am down-to-earth, compassionate, and supportive. I believe there is a power in knowing who you are, what you are experiencing, where you want to go, and how to get there. If these are conversations that interest you, let’s get in touch. I look forward to working with you!
